Jesus

I thank God for His many wonderful blessings that He has bestowed upon my life.  Even when I was in my ignorance and not realizing that my soul condition was in deep trouble, He saw fit not to allow the enemy to kill and destroy my life.  I thank God for the opportunity to share in this blog simply entitled, "Jesus."

The basis scripture for this inspirational blog comes out of Matthew 1:21 which reads, "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shall call His name Jesus: for He shall save His people from their sins.

WHO IS JESUS?
Jesus is the One and only begotten of our Father (God); He is the second person of the Godhead trinity; conceived by the Holy Ghost; born of a virgin named Mary; born in Bethlehem; found wrapped in swaddling clothing lying in a manger; He died by crucifixion as a sacrifice to achieve atonement for the sin of all mankind, rose from the dead and ascended into heaven where He sits on the right hand of the Father.

THE TRUTH ABOUT JESUS

NO MAN CAN COME TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH JESUS                           
John 6:44 (a) reads- No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him:

Unless God draws you, you cannot come to Jesus!  How does God draw you?  With your faith of course.  You cannot take credit for coming to God as it was He who drew you to Him based on your own faith in His Son Jesus.

THERE IS SALVATION IN NO OTHER NAME
Acts 4:12 reads- Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Salvation and redemption back to God can come in no other name but the name of Jesus.  Salvation cannot come in the name of Mohammed; it cannot come in the name of Buddha; it cannot come in the name of Hare Krishna; it cannot come in the doctrine of Charles Taze Russell (founder of Jehovah Witness).  Salvation and redemption back to our rightful place with God can only come through His Son Jesus!

THERE IS HEALING BY JESUS
Luke 4:39 reads- And He stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.
Mark 9:25- When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more to him.
Matthew 9:22-But Jesus turned him about, and when He saw her, He said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole.  And the woman was made whole from that hour.

Rebuke is defined as an expression of sharp disapproval or criticism of (someone or something) due to their behavior or actions.  Here we witness Jesus' disapproval of the fever that had overtaken the mother of Simon's wife and the foul spirit that had entered into a man causing him to be deaf and dumb.  After His rebuke of them healing went forth.  Healing through Jesus also comes through your faith in Him as witnessed by the woman with the issue of blood who had been stricken for 12 long years.

THERE IS ETERNAL LIFE IN HEAVEN THROUGH JESUS FOR ALL WHO BELIEVE
1 John 5:13 reads-These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

The author of this epistle is speaking only to those who believe on the name of the Son of God.  He is letting them know  that they have eternal life because they believe on the name of Jesus.  Have you ever considered eternal in comparison to the temporal life you live now?  Have you ever considered that how you are living right now predicates where you will spend eternity?  Have you considered that how you live is what you believe in?  Eternal life awaits those who believe His name for righteousness, life, salvation and those who are holding on to their profession in Him.

HE SITS AT THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER BEING A MEDIATOR ON YOUR BEHALF
1 Timothy 2:5 reads-For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man of Christ Jesus;

There is only one God who is the maker of all men of every condition and of every nation who offers salvation to all.  This salvation is offered through the one and only Mediator, Jesus Christ Himself.  He is the only one who was able to reconcile man back to God.  God was offended with the sin of man and His Son Jesus Christ is the only One who could negotiate (die) for the sin of man to place them back in good standing with His Father!

IN CONCLUSION

Your existence hangs in the balance ofyour life here on earth.  I have just shared with you some of the truths about Jesus.  There are many, many more which would take more than the bandwidth provided for this blog.  There is so much power afforded us by Jesus!  Why?  His promise to us was fulfilled in the Comforter.  You can live a life free from the practices of the sin that you were once bound by through the power of the Holy Ghost.  Jesus was wounded for your willful disobedience to God (TRANGRESSION); He was bruised for your immoral and unjustly behavior (INIQUITIES); the punishment for our peace was upon Him (CHASETISEMENT) and with His stripes you are healed.  Jesus died so that you may have everything pertaining to life and godliness.  Don't allow yourself to continue to believe  the lies of satan, that God loves you no matter what.  While that is true that God loves you no matter, He will not allow sin to stand and gloat in His presence; He did not allow His precious Son Jesus to die in vain.  God's love for you does not supercede the consequence of your actions for allowing yourself to continue in sin so that grace may abound, "God forbid!"

Get Jesus and get life!  If you have already profess Him as Lord and Savior over your life, there is yet a whole lot more of Him to explore and learn about!
